Assignment

brontosaurus Evolution Through the AgesPterodactyl

  1. Choose any animal/organism that is currently alive today. Your job is to investigate through research how the animal/organism has evolved to its current form, and what corresponding climate and/or environmental conditions were driving its evolutionary changes.

    • You need to go far enough back in time to when the animal was significantly different than today (this will differ for each animal)

  2. Using presentation software options, your job is to create a video of the evolutionary timeline of your animal

  3. Be sure to properly cite your research in APA format

Guiding Questions to focus on as you move through the timeline

  • What adaptations did the animal/organism have that were suited for its environment? How do we know this? Fossil evidence?

  • What was the climate/environment like and how did that influence the evolution and survival of the organism (This could include competition and pressure from other animals)
